This feature provides flexibility for skilled workers to explore job opportunities in Canada after becoming permanent residents.
Fast Processing Times:
The FSWP is known for its efficient and fast processing times. Once a candidate receives an Invitation to Apply (ITA), the Canadian government aims to process applications within six months, making the FSWP an attractive option for skilled workers eager to begin their new life in Canada.

Canadian Permanent Residency obtained through the Federal Skilled Worker Program is a stepping stone to Canadian citizenship. After fulfilling certain residency requirements, FSWP permanent residents can apply for Canadian citizenship and enjoy the benefits of being a Canadian citizen.
