Eligibility Requirements: Student Visa
It’s essential to be informed of the prerequisites for a Singapore student visa in advance to prevent delays. The eligibility criteria are listed below and have been provided for the students’ benefit:
- Attested photocopies of academic scores.
- Entrance exam reports as IELTS/ TOEFL Or GMAT/ GRE.
- Applicants for bachelor’s programs to have a minimum grade point average of 65 percent or above.
- IELTS is not required, especially if you are applying to private universities.
- Public university bachelor programs require a cumulative grade point average of 90 percent or higher in both the 10th and 12th grades.
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Two Reference letters

Singapore's upcoming Intakes:
Two times every academic year, students are admitted to Singapore colleges & universities.
- September and January
- April or May
Requirements for Singapore Student Visas:
- Valid Passport
- Authenticated copies of your 10th, 12th, and degree certificates
- Experience letter (If applicable)
- Score sheet of exams like TOEFL, IELTS, etc.
- One Passport size photo (less than 6 months old)
- Bank Statements – ORIGINAL for the last 28 days from all sponsors
- Affidavit of Support to be given by the sponsor on Rs.20 stamp paper (non-judicial)

- Letter by IHL Singapore
- IHL registers an application on the website of SOLAR. Singapore
- Submit forms 16 and V36
- The candidate has to show funds which must be a minimum of 1 day old from the date of the visa application.
The application can be as fast as two weeks, but it’s safer to assume that it will take 4-5 weeks until approval.
Singapore Student Visa Fee:
